Powder Brows versus Microblading – what’s the difference?

Both powder brows and microblading are semi-permanent make-up services which enhance the look of your natural brows.

Powder brows are done by using a machine device which deposits small dots of pigment into the skin. The end result is a filled-in soft makeup look which is great for those not wanting to worry about doing your brows in the morning. It’s a more modern approach which don’t look the same as those faded blue brows you see which were popularly done a decade ago. Powder brows give you a fluffy, powdery look with a faded front and crisp tail.

Microblading is done with a hand tool dipped into pigment which then the microblading artist applies detailed hair-like feather strokes to create the look of real brow hairs. The end result is seamless and many cannot tell the difference between their natural hairs and those that have been created. Microblading often enhances your existing brows or reshapes the appearance of your natural brows.
