Using the Dermapen 4 device, our Beauty Therapist or Registered Nurse will set create micro channels on your selected treatment area. Treatment time will range depending on your selected area and service but this could range from 30 mins for neck or decolletage to 45 mins for a full face or back

  • Dermal needling is a skin appearance treatment which uses a pen device which glides over the skin with micro needles. This creates tiny punctures into the skin which starts a controlled healing response which in turn stimulates natural growth factors and pushes hyaluronic acid into the skin, boosts collagen and elastin and repairs cell DNA. The result is a smoother, firmer and more radiant skin. There is minimal downtime.

    Dermal needling also helps target concerns related to acne scarring, sun damage, signs of ageing and skin texture.

  • OFF & ON uses the most advanced dermal needling device – Dermapen 4. Dermapen 4 provides minimal pain and no epidermal tearing and is the only dermal needling pen with a dedicated Scar Treatment Setting.

    Dermapen 4 works by using a gamma sterilized needle cartridge that oscillates in and out of the skin at 120 ops, creating 1,920 micro channels, which is 1 million in total across the area.   • Dermal needling treatments are not suitable for patients experiencing active papulopustular rosacea, acne vulgaris stage III-IV, herpes simplex, warts, scleroderma, bacterial/fungal infections, open lesions, solar keratosis, skin cancer, or hemophilia.

  • Unlike traditional dermal rolling techniques, the Dermapen 4 ™ is the most comfortable and virtually pain-free microneedling treatment available, thanks to advanced technology and design. This progression started with the Dermapen 3™, which resulted in reduced levels of pain and discomfort than its predecessor – as well as safer, more effective microneedling treatments. Today, with the Dermapen 4™, there is no need for any topical anaesthetic cream (TLA), just lay back and enjoy the stunning results.

  • Typically, you will see results after the first treatment. Lasting and more significant results will become visible after 3 to 6 treatments (spaced 2-8 weeks apart). The condition of your skin will continue to improve over the next 6-12 months after a course of treatments, especially when combined with the recommended post-treatment care.

  • Generally no, but you may experience facial redness for 12-48 hours after the treatment. Most people are able to return to normal daily activities immediately after the treatment.   • While there is no clinical evidence that Dermapen™ treatments counteract with any particular injectables, it is important to let your clinician know if you have had an injectable treatment, or are planning one in the near future.
